Hi I'm Robert

I was born and grew up in California. My wife was born in England. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I attended and graduated from college with a BS in Manufacturing Technology and worked for IBM Corporation as a manufacturing engineer building and shipping their data storage products. My wife came from England, She is the only member of her family here in the USA, so over the years we have made many visits to the UK and have a great relationship with her family. We have raised 4 children and are a close family. I am a DIY kind of guy and can do most anything in the home. More recently I've taken up woodworking as a hobby. Travel is also on the list and we have been to many places in the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I have asked myself this question many times and the first answer tht comes to me is "It is who I am" I have studied the scriptures and teachings of the church and tested them. They guide me in all aspects of my life and give me comfort and understanding of my purpose and potential here. I know that I have a Heavenly Father, that his Son, Jesus Christ, is our Savior and that he loves all of us. I look at life as a journey leading back to His presence, with all our experiences here on earth as blessings, designed to make help us be more like Him. I am grateful for Him and try to make my actions and choices a reflection of the Savior's example.

How I live my faith

Over the years we have had many opportunities to serve as teachers in our church, mainly to the youth and young adults. As a father, whose children also benefited from faithful teachers, I am very thankful for the added attention, love and strength other teachers gave, outside of our efforts at home, which helped my children grow to persons of integrity and faith in Christ.
