Hi I'm Kaden

I grew up in Southern Alberta, Canada. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love to read, play sports (especially basketball), and sing. This past year I sang bass in a Jazz Choir and it was a great experience. My favourite food is Chinese, and my favourite book series is The Rangers Apprentice. I love to hang out with my friends, and I will not pass up the opportunity to be active.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I love it. The standards put out by the church have blessed my life significantly and brought me true and lasting happiness. I know that living those standards is what has really helped me to stay out of trouble and kept me down a path that I want to be on. I also love being a Mormon, because of the importance they place on the family. When I get back from my mission, getting married and having a family is the most important thing to me. Growing up, I had a family that loved and supported one another, and this was essential when I had to stand up for what I belived to be right. This sometimes meant losing friends, but I always knew I had my family. In addition, I have seen the relationship of service and love that my parents have for one another. They are truly best friends and I want a relationship like that in my life and for all eternity. Finally, going to church each week and being surrounded by kind and generous people that I look up to is amazing. I know that they have helped prepare me for the challenges and opportunities that life brings and I am so grateful for it.

How I live my faith

I was recently released as the first assistant in my group of 16-18 year old boys, but I still enjoy participating in activities with them each week. As a home teacher, I am always willing to help my home teaching families, and I look forward to seeing them each month. I am eagerly preparing to serve a mission and I can not wait for when I can get out in the field and serve my Heavenly Fatehr for two years.
