Hi I'm Susan Moon

I grew up in United States of America. I graduated from college. I am married, raised ten children and traveled. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for forty nine years and am a mother of ten children and grandmother of thirty two. I like to travel and have visited all but two of the states in the United States and thirty other countries. I enjoy reading, sewing, quilting, and making crafts for my home. I love watching my children and grandchildren participate in their sports, dancing, choirs, and other activities. I like to share my beliefs in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon. I was baptized when I was a child and have always been an active member. I have read and studied the Book of Mormon and the Bible and have prayed to know of the truth of them and the teachings that are contained in them. I have felt the confirmation of these truths by the Holy Spirit as answer to my prayers. I have a great feeling of peace when I read the scriptures and practice the life that are taught there. I know that my prayers are heard by a loving Heavenly Father and that He loves me and is concerned about me as an individual and as His child. I continue to follow the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ because of the strength, comfort and direction that I receive as I follow and practice the teachings. I know the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true. The Church teaches true doctrines. Jesus Christ is our Savior and the Book of Mormon is the word of God to His children on the earth. Joseph Smith was a living prophet. There are living prophet and apostles on the earth today who guide us and gives counsel in our lives.

How I live my faith

I have served in my children's school classes as a teacher's aid and as an officer in the Parent Teacher Association and on committees to plan and execute student activities in the school. In my ward I have served as a teacher in classes and music for young children and teenagers. I have also served as a teacher for adults in a Gospel Doctrine class and also as a teacher in the adult women's auxiliary. I have served in presidencies and as President in the auxiliaries for the young children, teenagers and adult women. I have organized activities for teenagers and women and large ward socials. I love to visit the sisters in the ward as a visiting teacher and be friends with them. I have also served Church missions in Poland, Kenya and Nauvoo, Illinois to share the Gospel with others and to help in strengthening the homemaking, organizational, leadership and teaching skills of leaders and families.
