Hi I'm Spencer

I grew up in Utah. Love the gospel and strive to live it. I am a Mormon who loves sports and outdoors!

About Me

I love to compete and play in any type of sport. I am an Eagle Scout. I enjoy music of all kinds. I love helping others and just simply being around others. I try to always be an example of Christ and share with others the things he did for us. I love my family. I am currently serving a mission, and going to Japan, Fukuoka!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for many reasons. Yes, you could argue that I am simply a Mormon because my parents are and that is the only thing I know. I'm here to tell you that you are correct, but not entirely. I am a Mormon because I have grown to learn about Christ, I have grown to love Christ. I am a Mormon and proud to call myself one simply on what our church does. The amount of love and care that proceeds forth from it is unbelievable. We are huge on serving our fellow men and always doing whats right. To me, that is so important. I love doing whats right and feeling good about what I do. I have a testimony of the Book of Mormon and the Prophet Joseph Smith. Joseph was a prophet of God. The Book of Mormon is the word of God and another testament of Jesus Christ. Through diligent scripture study and sincere prayer you can know the Savior just as I have. Dare to be a Mormon. Dare to stand for whats right when no one else will.

How I live my faith

As with the other young men in my ward, we are always looking for ways to serve. We have the wonderful opportunity to take the sacrament, along with a short message relating to the gospel, to the elderly in my ward. Each Sunday we get to visit with them and see what more we can do for them. It is a great blessing in my life. It humbles me when I get hear the trials and hardships they had to go through to be where they are today. I also get the opportunity to go to mutual every week. Mutual is simply where all the young men/women meet with a few selected adults, and we get to go and do something fun. Whether its a service project, bowling, eating out, going to the temple, etc. its always a fun time.
