Hi I'm Mason

I grew up in centeral Califorina. I graduated from public High School and earned my Eagle Scout. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Scouting has been a large part of my life and I adore all things outdoors. I am the first Eagle Scout in my family and I continue to work with the Boy Scouts. One of my favorite activities is mountain biking followed closely by road biking. I plan on attending college in the coming years and earning a batchelor degree. I'm the eldest son in my family and I have two younger siblings.

Why I am a Mormon

My conversion isn't something that I can trace back to any specific event. I grew up in the church and was taught the principles of the the gospel at a very early age. I believed the teachings that I was taught and applied them to the situation of my life. As I did so I felt peace and that I was doing the right thing. I continued to follow the priciples of the gospel and before I knew it I believed in Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. My faith continued to grow as I followed the teachings of the prophets. At the age of eight I had strong faith in Jesus Christ and had felt the Holy Ghost witness to me multiple times that Christ lives and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Christ's Church upon the Earth today, so I was baptized. As I continued to follow the teachings of the Lord I grew closer to the Spirit, which witness more surely that Christ lives and this is his church. As I have tried to follow the gospel I have seen blessing, witnessed miracles, recieved answers to question, and have felt comfort in times of trial that is uncanny to what the prophets have promised, which has made my faith in Christ grow. I love Jesus Christ. He bled and died for me. He knows and loves all of us by name and wishes that we would come to him and the father that we might be happy.

How I live my faith

In my ward or congregation I am one of the priests and have the great privilege of being able to bless the sacarment on Sunday which is the most sacred part of our Sunday meetings. I keep myself worthy to do this by keeping the commandments as best I can, studying the scriptures, going to the Lord often in prayer and attending my other meetings.
