Hi I'm Lexie Jackson

I grew up on the East Coast of the United States! I'm a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!

About Me

I'm 19 years old. I'm a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I'm serving in the New Mexico Albuquerque mission, speaking Spanish. I grew up on the East Coast of the United states. I attended BYU-Idaho and studied psychology. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and all the blessings that come with it!

Why I am a Mormon

I have attended the Mormon church my entire life. I always believed and accepted the things i was taught, but it wasn't until I was about 15 or 16 that feel I really came to the realization of the truthfulness of the gospel and was converted to it. I have gone through many trials in my life and because of the Gospel, and the council of many great members I have been able to come out on top and I continue to do so. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church. God is my Heavenly Father and I am his daughter. Jesus Christ is my Savior, and my elder brother. He atoned for my sins and because of that I can repent and be clean and pure. Because of his sacrifice I have the ability and opportunity to live eternally with Heavenly Father. I know the Book of Mormon to be the Word of God. I know that there are prophets and apostles on this earth today, that receive revelation from God. The power of prayer is very real and I feel it in my life everyday. I love the gospel and I will do my best to follow Christ.

How I live my faith

I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm so grateful for the blessings and happiness it has brought to my life and I want to share that with who I can. I have been blessed by many great teachers who have spent time teaching me and bringing my closer to Christ and Heavenly Father. While I was home between semester I was given the opportunity to teach the 3-4 year olds in primary. I loved being with them every Sunday, watching their understanding and testimonies grow and change. Hearing them pray made my heart smile! I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church. I am not perfect, but I strive everyday to do the best I can, and be the best I can. Christ is my Savior, and Redeemer. Because of him I have the opportunity to live with Heavenly Father again.
