Hi I'm Talia

I'm a 19 year old college student and aspiring author from Washington and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a bookworm and slightly obsessed with the MCU (the marvel cinematic universe). I've never really been a very sporty person but I love to ski (in snow not water) and kayak occasionally (but only when there are no waves). I am a student at BYU currently searching for a major and eventual career. I love writing poetry and fiction mainly though I recently discovered the genre of creative non-fiction (basically philosophical analyzing/retelling of events) which is actually really fun despite being a bit of a oxymoron.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this church is true that God sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to suffer and die for our sins. That we have prophets in these modern days. I know the Book of Mormon is true scripture and contains the word of God. I know God loves his children. I know these things because I have had experiences and feelings to personal to share over the internet that have changed not just my life but my heart

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday in both big and small things. I don't drink. I don't smoke. I try to follow all the commandments which God has given in the scriptures. These aren't the big things though, living my faith is about being and becoming more like Jesus Christ. So I try to be kind and accepting, to help others and have faith and trust in God. I'm going to be honest here, I mess up. I'm far from perfect but I live my faith by trying to become better. On the less abstract and internal side of things. I have had callings in the church.
