Hi I'm Marcus

I grew up in Mesa, Arizona. I play soccer, the piano and I love to read. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in an LDS household, although my dad was not a member. Growing up I played many sports, but I fell in love with soccer. I learned hard work through my schooling and upbringing, and throughout all of my high school years I earned straight A's. I love my friends and family because they have shaped me to be the person I am today. I love the gospel, because I have seen the happiness it has brought to my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I want to be. Although I grew up in a Mormon house, I was encouraged to make my own decisions, but to accept the consequences of my actions. My testimony of this gospel has grown as I have read the Book of Mormon and seen the power of missionary work in my life by watching my father get baptized.

How I live my faith

I am an Eagle Scout, and I work hard to help better my community. I participate in local food drives and help to clean up neighborhood parks on the weekends. The church has helped me to become a leader by holding leader ship positions that would otherwise have been unavailable to me. I have learned the value of hard work and how to delegate jobs in order to make projects run more smoothly and efficiently.
