Hi I'm Lexi

I grew up in Bozeman Montana. I'm a harpist, pianist, A cappella enthusiast, dental assistant, and college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now, I am serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in San Diego California. I wake up at 6:30 every morning to serve God's children by sharing his message of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ, and it has been the most wonderful experience of my life thus far. When I return home from serving in the spring of 2018, I am enrolled as a Choral Education major at Brigham Young University, who loves performance and composition. I love hiking, backpacking, hunting, fishing, and being immersed in the great outdoors. I've work as a dental assistant when not employed as an eager college student, and love pushing myself to learn new things. I was raised by wonderful parents who love me very much, and grew up alongside three sisters and a brother who- I hope and pray- have kindled similar feelings toward me! I love my family, friends, and this one sweet boy. Most dearly, I love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have received a spiritual witness that this Gospel is true. I read the Book of Mormon and prayed about its truthfulness. It was not any of the doctrine, or messages taught in the church that convinced me to be a Mormon, but the feeling I received in my heart when I asked God if it was true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be kind to all those I come into contact with, serving those around me through my church responsibilities, and trying to pattern my life after the teachings of Jesus Christ. I served in my college ward this year as the director of our Ward Choir, who organized rehearsals and performances in church meetings for a group of volunteer church members who would like to sing during church. Before that, I served as our organist and played the hymns during meetings. No matter what I am doing to serve, I try to do the very best I can, and do so kindly. I use my talents to glorify the Lord, and try to be an example of the principles taught by Christ. I set my standards high and do not depart from them in times of temptation or difficulty. I love this gospel, and have felt the blessings that come from living it's precepts permeate every aspect of my life.
