Hi I'm Zach Smith

My home town is St. George Utah. I'm an Eagle scout. I love to experiment! And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving in the Tennessee Knoxville mission. I'm the oldest of 4 children. I love to serve others and have a passionate for creating. My hobbies include building rockets, metallurgy, designing and creating just about anything crazy/ fun. And between all that, doing good to my fellow man. My goal is to go to Utah State University for it’s engineering program to become a research and development Engineer some day.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS church, so I learned a lot about my religion at an early age. But I still needed to find the answers to questions that I had about God and our beliefs. I had to stop relying on my parent's faith and find my own testimony. After what seemed a long journey of faith and repentance I can honestly say that I know that you and I are children of a Heavenly Father who loves us and wants all of us to succeed in our lives (what ever that may entail), and who wants all of us to come home to him when our time has come.

How I live my faith

I love to serve others and actively serve in my church and community. In my church I currently serve with the young men as an advisor and also as a "home teacher" which is a type of shepherding role for a few assigned families in our congregation. I have also accepted a call to serve as a full-time missionary to teach others about the gospel of Jesus Christ.
