Hi I'm Alisa Ruff

I'm the youngest of 6 children. I'm a missionary in Raleigh, North Carolina. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the youngest of six and the tallest of six. American Sign Language and theater were my life in high school and people frequently compliment my many facial expressions. I'm accident prone so it's only natural for me to go into the medical field at BYU.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up, I was a Mormon because I was copying my family. Going to church was just what we did. It looked like my nonmember friends had more fun and at times I was jealous of their "freedom". But things started getting hard for my family when I started high school and I had to choose what to build my foundation on. I realized Jesus Christ was the only source of comfort that would never disappoint me and I started strengthening my relationship with Him. His restored church offers truth and peace and because of how He's blessed me, I could never deny my faith in Him or this gospel. The Book of Mormon has gotten me through thick and thin and I'm so blessed to share it with the people of North Carolina.

How I live my faith

My mom taught us to lift those around us and be friends with the friendless. I love teaching others about Jesus Christ because I know true joy only comes through Him. Not everybody wants to hear about my faith but I share it anyway!
