Hi I'm Dee

I'm an electrician and a member of IBEW. I grew up in Rochester, NY. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm originally from Rochester, NY but moved to Idaho after meeting my wife at a private school in Rexburg, Idaho. We have 5 children. I work as a construction electrician and travel for extended periods of time with a license in MT,OR,WY,UT,WA, ID, and ND. I'm a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). I'm known throughout the Northwest among my electrical brothers as the person that wrote the book "Going Inside A labor Union". I'm an outdoors enthusiast and enjoy hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and boating.

Why I am a Mormon

It is one thing to look for a religion that may suite your lifestyle, and it is an entirely other matter to find and discover principles of truth. If you really want to know about Mormons, then read the Book of Mormon. It is really that simple. There are thousands of articles, books, pamphlets and media outlets that give someone's interpretation of "the Mormons", but why not go to the source, the Book of Mormon? I am a Mormon because I have thoroughly read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover and have received spiritual testament of it's truthfulness.

How I live my faith

As a member of the church of Jesus Christ we have the opportunity to learn and grow spiritually and socially by accepting callings to serve within the church as lay ministers. Since there is no paid ministry in this church, members volunteer their time and effort to teach principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ and inspire each other to live those principles. These callings may include, teaching classes, working with the youth programs, administrating and leading in various offices and auxiliaries with the end goal of enjoying life and bringing us closer to Christ.
