Hi I'm Adam Wangeman

I am an avid boy scout, runner, singer, and more, I have been called to serve in the Teresa Brazil Mission.

About Me

I have lived all over the country when my father worked for the military but when I was in high school we to southern Idaho permitly. I have been active in boy scouts all I can and plan to continue to be even after I turned 18. I love running and track especially hurdles and triple jump. I love to sing and dance, it is one of my passions and I'll never stop. I plan on attending BYU when I return from my mission to major in mechanical engineering. I will report to the Sao Paulo MTC on August 8th for my 2 year LDS mission to Teresina Brazil.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky enough to be born into the LDS or Mormon church but that's not why I go to church every Sunday or why I'm going on a mission to bring others to this church. I am a Mormon for one reason and that is because it's teachings and prophets are true and of God. How do I know this so well. I know it because my Father in Heaven or God and sent his spirit to me when I prayed to know if this church was of him. I know because I continue to have that spirit as I serve in his church and learn more about my God. I know because there is nothing more joyous that I could imagine then bringing this happens I have to the world.

How I live my faith

I have been asked as a member of Jesus Christ's church on this earth to spend 2 years of my life inviting others to come unto Christ. I have been asked to serve to this capacity in Teresina Brazil speaking Portuguese a very unfamiliar language to me until now. I know how important God's children are to him on this earth and he has trusted me with the ability to bring them back unto his presence. I know how important this is and so I'm giving up everything I know for 2 years and trusting completely in my God to direct me. I do not know what will happen or what I will do but I know I will be protected and directed. If you want to know why I do this or think I'm crazy come find me! And if you're not in Brazil there's a very good chance you can find some of my fellow missionaries in your area doing exactly what I am, just look out for some enthusiastic young men in white shirts and ties or young women in pretty dresses walking the streets or riding bikes wearing name tags from The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints.
