Hi I'm Madi

I am a Mormon. I grew up in Ogden, Utah.. I have been called to serve in the Ecuador Guayaquil North mission.

About Me

Hi my name is Madi Stevens. I was born in Utah and have lived here my entire life. I am 19 years old and have been called to serve in the Ecuador Guayaquil North mission. I am currently studying at Weber State University and hope to pursue a career in physical therapy. My hobbies include: lacrosse, running, hiking, playing the piano, and really anything outdoors! I am also LDS and love this gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have come to realize this gospel is what truly brings me happiness; happiness beyond anything this world has to offer. I have grown up in this church my entire life but through incredible experiences and amazing examples around me, I have come to know for myself that this is the only true church on the earth today and it is lead by a prophet who is inspired of God. I know that Heavenly Father knows ME. He knows all of His children on a personal level and loves us each so much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us so that we can return to live with them again. I know with all my heart that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and truly is another testament of Jesus Christ and the way I gained my testimony of it was by reading it and praying about it. The gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has given me a sense of purpose, belonging, and hope in all things. My Savior is my best friend and I have come to understand the reality of His unconditional love for each of us through prayer. Prayer is real. Because of this gospel, I am never lost. I am never lost because I know my Father in Heaven has purpose in all things and I trust in the plan He has created for me with my entire heart. I know that if anyone feels that they are missing something in their life, it's this church. My knowledge of this gospel has gotten me through every trial and I cannot imagine my life without it.

How I live my faith

Because I am only 19, I have not had very many callings in my church. Although, I try to participate in as many service activities as I can and find joy in doing so. I also am a visiting teacher with my mom which means I get the opportunity to talk with different individuals in my ward! It's been really fun to visit with them and share my testimony of the gospel as some are not members! I am currently preparing to serve a mission for my church as well.
