Hi I'm Megan

I love hiking. I'm the middle child. Laughter is the best medicine. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I really love all things outdoors....although I am terrified of heights, speed and so many other things I try really hard to overcome it. It always makes for a good laugh when I try to mountain bike or any other remotely adventurous thing. I attended BYU-Provo for one year and my current major is Elementary Ed. I have played soccer, basketball, tennis and ran in track and cross country. Most of those were rather brief though, and the true sport I really played was soccer! I love art, photography and especially the mountains!!!!! I can be described as a 5 year old at heart and love kids. Can't wait to be a teacher! I love quotes, whether they are cheesy or deep. Writing is something that makes me really happy and reading is a true passion of mine.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true! Words are insufficient in describing how much happiness and peace it has brought to my life! I was raised in the church and so were my parents. I have definitely made a lot of mistakes in my life but the beautiful thing is that we can be forgiven! We aren't meant to be perfect, we are only meant to try our hardest. I can't even express how truly incredible that is. The Atonement of Jesus Christ allows us to be forgiven, and we don't have to let our past dictate the rest of our lives. I am a Mormon because I know this church is true and it has brought me such incredible, filling peace. It helps me to be a better person and to realize the why of this life. We have purpose. We can have hope, peace and such incredible happiness. Life is amazing! And this Gospel is true. The question "Why I am a Mormon" for me has a lifetime of answers. Ask me more and I will share! I don't think I could ever fully describe all the reasons, and it seems as though I find a new one each day.

How I live my faith

I am currently preparing to serve in the Massachusetts Boston mission! I am extremely excited to get out there and serve and share with others what has brought me so much happiness and peace in my life.
