Hi I'm Dallan

I am a Mormon born and raised in Idaho.

About Me

I like to play soccer and have done so for about ten years. I am going on a mission to Argentina so I anticipate that all those years of soccer will come in handy. I also enjoy reading in much of my spare time. I have always been fascinated by mathematics in school and plan on going to college to be a mechanical engineer.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the Gospel, but I continue to follow the Gospel because I have seen how it has helped me in my life to be happy and to grow into a young man my parents and my Heavenly Father can be proud of. I have also noticed those around me without the Gospel just seem directionless. They don't know how to live their lives and what to do with them because they have not grown up with that knowledge as I have. I have also noticed that those who do come to accept the Gospel and are converted are also able to gain direction in their lives and they become happier and more focused.

How I live my faith

I help out the bishop who is the leader of the ward. I help him with the older young adults in planning activities and helping the other young men to continually develop stronger testimonies is Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

We believe that it is only by grace that we are saved. Grace is the divine help of God that helps us to overcome challenges and sins that we have in our lives. In that way, grace saves us by washing away our sins and making us a clean slate again and again as well as helping us after that to remain clean. Grace perfects us each day as we actively use it to help ourselves become better people. Show more Show less
