Hi I'm Zach

I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. I love sports, fitness, and reading. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am college student, taking a 2 year break to serve as a missionary in Tampico, Mexico. In my free time I love to work out, play basketball, and watch Colorado Rockies baseball. I am one of 6 children, all brothers, and I remain close to all of them. They have greatly influenced my life. I am an avid reader, and love non-fiction books about current events. I hope to one day become a pilot in the Air Force.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS Church, but from a young age have wondered if it really was the "true" church. As I have grown older, I have come to a knowledge of the truthfulness of the gospel Of Jesus Christ found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Letter-Day Saints. I have come to this knowledge through regular scripture study, prayer, church attendance, and repentance. Some have big, life-changing experiences that confirm the truthfulness of the Mormon church to them. I have not received such an experience, but have come to a sure knowledge through "small and simple things", and I feel that many others have done the same through the same measures.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by everyday striving to become a better person, and to live a life that Christ would be proud of. I do so by refraining from alcohol, tobacco, pornography, foul language, or anything else that would take my life out of harmony with the life that the Savior lived. I strive to read from the Book of Mormon and the Bible every single day. I pray when I wake up every morning and when I go to bed each night.
