Hi I'm Luc Hoer

I am a highschool graduate. I am going to serve a full time LDS mission. My life has just begun. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grow up in a family of 9. I have 6 siblings. I have always had a very big family. I now have four in-laws, making my family now grow to a family of 13 counting me. I have grown up in a suburb to a big city. I plan on attending college after i serve an LDS mission. I have goals to be a doctor.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon since birth. I was born into this church. However, I still had my own conversion. People may think I only chose this church because I was born into it, but that is not true. I have received a testimony of my own throughout the years. It did not come all at once, but it has come. I am a Mormon because i know without a doubt this is the right church. I know that this is not only the best way to live my life, it is also the right way to live my life. This church has given me life and light. This church has given me a purpose for my life and a structure of support from family and friends. The LDS church also has given me a new type of family a ward family that lives in my area. This gives me so many people to help and so many people to help me. I know this church is true. I have prayed about it many times and everytime I do my knowledge of this being the true church just grows. This church gives me true joy. I can be truly happy when I am at church or worshipping. I am not just a Mormon when it is convenient. I am an everyday Mormon 24/7.

How I live my faith

I have had many leadership positions. I am still a youth in the church, but I have been given responsibilities to help out with the church. I have been the youth leader of the group of people in my age group. I am currently preparing to serve a mission. It has always been my dream to serve a mission. I currently still visit the church members I am assigned to visit and visit them regularly. I go with my father to visit church members often. I have invited my fellow peer and friends to attend church with me and go to youth activities. I always try to invite those who I don't see at church too often to make them feel welcome and loved.
