Hi I'm Elisabeth

Born in Utah, raised in The Netherlands. Been married for 3 years, building a foundation for ourselves. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Elisabeth, I'm 26. I was born in Utah and lived in the small town of Bluebell in the Uintah Basin. We moved to The Netherlands when I was 13. It took awhile to adjust to a new culture, but has became one of the greatest blessings in my life. I've experienced a lot joy as well as pain in those years. I've come to appreciate the changes that have been constant in my life. My husband and I have been married now for 3 years. We were sealed in the Mount Timpanogas Temple on July 12th 2013. I served an LDS mission in the Greece Athens Mission from May 2011- Oct. 2012 It has helped define me and set character traits in place as a foundation for my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it gives me hope. Because I know if God is a loving God and Really loves his children, that he would provide a fullness of truth for us to make it through this life and all the challenges that come with it.

How I live my faith

Personally living my faith, is not easy. With the many blessings I've received from living by faith and striving to live what I believe, opposition is something that has helped define me. I do my best to keep habits I was raised with and that I have felt are important for my progression. My husband and I are working on making the habit of scripture study in our home. I try to reflect on where I stand and how I am progressing, I work on staying positive and hopeful in times of trial and adversity. Prayer is a key and something I have used in the past that has opened windows and poured in blessings. Prayer is something my faith is founded on. I have needed to rely on the memory of those blessings during trials I've had and have felt comfort throughout the years. Of course trials and human error comes about but I am once again establishing prayer in my life, and feel hope in the promised blessings of living my faith.
