Hi I'm Luke Brockbank

I've grown up in Utah. I'm serving a mission in the Uruguay Montevideo West Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 17 years old and just graduated high school. I will be serving a mission in Uruguay starting in August. I am a competitive swimmer, swimming distance freestyle events, and have been since eighth grade. I enjoy singing, playing the piano, ukulele, and saxophone. I love to be in the mountains, swimming in cold lakes, and anything in the Utah outdoors. I love reading and spending quality time with my friends and family as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon for a large number of reasons. Primarily, it was how I was raised. I was blessed with an amazing family and parents who taught me the gospel growing up. I have always attended church and meetings and have always had amazing support from friends and family. Now however, I continue to be a Mormon because I have gained a testimony of my own. I have read the Book Of Mormon and know it to be true. I have done lots of studying and praying and have felt multiple times that this is the true church. I also am especially excited to serve a mission. My whole life I have been preparing to do so and now it is here and I am ready to serve!

How I live my faith

I attend church weekly and try to encourage others to as well. I am an assistant ward organist and play the organ or piano every couple of weeks in church. My father is my home teaching companion and we teach a wonderful family in our ward every month.
