Hi I'm Josh

I'm from the Denver area, I love all things outdoors and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am an Eagle Scout I am a volunteer Firefighter I enjoy hiking, backpacking, skydiving, and running I am a student at Brigham Young University-Idaho I am pursuing a BS in Paramedicine. I grew up a Mormon and will be serving a full time mission in the Florida Tallahassee Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS church, both of my parents were very active in the church. Although I came from a strong foundation through the church, I had relied on others testimonies and beliefs for too long. It wasn't until my sophomore and junior years of High School when I faced some very difficult trials that I, with Gods help laid a sure foundation for my testimony. I know without a shadow of a doubt that this is God's restored gospel upon this earth. Joseph Smith was a prophet and an instrument in God's hands to help restore his church upon the earth. I know the Book of Mormon is true, that it is the history and testaments of Christ, from the people here in the Americas and was translated by Joseph Smith. Even though I was raised in an environment where these principles were taught all my life, I had to seek out God myself and come to an understanding that I am a son of God, we all are, and with this understanding I hope to help bring more of God's children to his gospel as I serve in the Florida Tallahassee mission.

How I live my faith

I am striving to become better everyday. Through small simple things, great things come to pass. I try to be consistent with my prayers, reading my scriptures everyday, and finding opportunities to serve. Sharing what I know to be true if opportunity arises.
