Hi I'm Nate

I love to swim. I love tennis. I love my family more than both. I'm going on a mission to Korea! And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have always loved to be active. Whether playing soccer, tennis, swimming, basketball, or whatever, I love to compete! Besides sports, I love playing the piano and ukulele, singing, and meeting new people. I have learned that everybody has a story and I want to know about it! I am getting ready to serve in the Korea Busan mission for two years, and I am so excited to share this Gospel with the people of Korea. I have found great strength, hope, and encouragement through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? H O P E It is that simple. In this world, it is easy to become sad, hopeless, depressed. Everyone feels that way from time to time. But because of Jesus Christ, because that man who led a perfect life, who had no mistakes which should cause him grief-- yet felt ALL the pain, ALL the sadness, ALL the worry, fear even, that anyone would feel, that anyone could feel, and more-- I know that I am understood. I am loved. He felt that for me. He loves me! He loves you! And because of Him, because of Jesus Christ, we can start over. We can always have hope. We can feel forgiveness and peace. I need that. I need that feeling of comfort and belonging. I have found that through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following Jesus Christ's example! We learn in Alma that "by small and simple things are great things brought to pass" and so I try to focus on the little things. Saying hello to people! Looking for lonely kids in the lunchroom. Picking up trash. Loving, serving, smiling. I am an active member, attending my church meetings each week, where I am strengthened, where I learn, and where I am renewed. I am living my faith by preparing to serve a two-year mission in Korea! That means I will be learning Korean and living over there for two years to share this Gospel that I love. I trust my leaders. I have felt nothing but Christlike love from them. I trust Thomas S. Monson as a real and living prophet of God-- he receives direct inspiration for us! I listen to his words and try to be like my Savior. I love this faith. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to live it. It brings me peace and joy!
