Hi I'm Kirsten

I love art, I love nature, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second of three children, I have an older sister and a younger brother. I love art and mainly draw animals, flowers, and landscapes, although I have drawn many other things. I am currently preparing to serve a full time mission for 18 months in the California San Diego mission. When I get back from my mission I will be attending the University of Utah to get a degree in Psychology.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the gospel and I can say that it has truly blessed my life. During my Sophomore year in High School my parents got a divorce. One of the biggest things that kept me going during that difficult time was my testimony of the Savior. The church really helped me to find the bigger picture and to learn that while it wasn't easy learning to deal with my parents divorce has actually helped turn me into the person I am now and has taught me valuable lessons in life. That experience has taught me that while your trials are hard to deal with in the moment once you get past them, you realize how much you have grown in your testimony and as a person. I love this gospel so much and I am so grateful that I have such an amazing testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel and of the Book of Mormon. I know and love my Savior and with out Him I wouldn't be the person I am now.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be an example to everyone who is around me. I try to let the light of Christ show in everything I do. I have standards that I refuse to lower, no matter what. I also am currently about to go on my mission to bring others the light of Christ that has blessed my life in so many ways.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Kirsten
Yes! Mormons believe that families can last forever. Husband and wife can be together forever through sacred ordinances that are preformed in God's holy temples. This ordinance also seals them to their children to keep them together as a family throughout this life and for eternity. Show more Show less
