Hi I'm Miriam

I'm an avid reader. I love my family, my country, and the gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read and learn. This love extends to spiritual, as well as secular, things. After going to a year of college, I have decided to serve my Lord and Savior by serving a mission in Italy. I am excited, and nervous, to share the knowledge I have accumulated over a lifetime of being a member of the church.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, and I don't remember a time when I didn't believe. I'm not saying there have never been hard times, there definitely has been, but my Savior's love and the comfort and guidance of the Spirit have gotten me through. The gospel just makes sense. It brings peace and joy to my life. That's why I'm a Mormon. I can't imagine my life without my knowledge of the gospel. I know the Book of Mormon is true. I find peace, joy, and answers to life's questions within its pages. I know that through Christ's atonement I can be forgiven of the things I do wrong. I know that I can become clean and worthy again. I know that we are guided by a prophet of God. I know that, if we live worthily, I can be with my family forever. I know that God knows and loves us in a very individual way, for I have felt His love for myself and others. I can't wait to see Him again! I love this gospel!

How I live my faith

I have played the piano for 13 years and I love it! I am grateful that I have been blessed with this talent and, just like the Savior teaches, I share my talent by playing the piano in church every Sunday, bringing the Spirit through music. Music has such a powerful impact on the way we feel and worship, and I'm thankful for the part I can play.
