Hi I'm Jacey

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music! I play the piano, sing, and have played the clarinet. I like playing soccer! I played softball as a child. I have learned to crochet, and I can knit. I love playing games.

Why I am a Mormon

I have come to know for myself that the church is true. I know that the atonement is real, and because of our Savior's sacrifice we can be forgiven of any mistake we have made. I know that our heavenly parents and our Savior love us so deeply, more than we even know. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is called of God as a prophet to lead and guide us; and that the men and women who have been called to serve with him are also called of God to be his servants. I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ bless us with tender mercies and miracles still in these days. They hear and answer our prayers. Because of our Savior and his gospel I have hope.

How I live my faith

I do my best to do my visiting teaching every month. I have served in callings in young women's program as a youth, and been on the activity committee. I attend our church meetings, study the scriptures daily, and pray daily.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Jacey
The atonement is Jesus Christ's sacrifice that he made for every person that has ever lived, is living, and will ever live. Jesus took upon himself all the sins, pains, sickness, afflictions, and burdens of all of God's children, and he felt them for each and everyone of us individually. Because of our Savior Jesus Christ we can all return to live with our Heavenly Father again, if we keep the commandments and do what the Lord asks us to do. Jesus Christ was the only one that could go through what he went through for us. Without Christ having given his life for us we would not be able to enter God's kingdom again because we all make mistakes. The scriptures talk about how "no unclean thing can enter into God's kingdom." Because of the atonement we can be made clean from our mistakes and be forgiven, and be worthy to stand and be in God's presence. Show more Show less
