Hi I'm Trevor Toolson

When I was 16 I burned down my kitchen while making fried chicken. Yet I made it to where I am today. #Hallelujah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Born in Barcelona, Spain but grew up in beautiful Alpine, UT. I love sports, particularly basketball and soccer, and I love my family! I love to hike and learn about other cultures. My brothers are pretty much better than me at everything but FIFA. One of 6 kids with 2 awesome parents. Ping pong is fun. Someday I'll go to a World Cup.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the best church to raise a family in. I do not yet have kids of my own, but the happiness and blessings that the principles of the gospel bring to the family are amazing. Seeing the blessings of having a great family has been the motivation for me to continue in the church, living the gospel to the best of my ability, so that I can have an amazing family of my own. I also know that the Book of Mormon is the true word of God, as well as other scripture that testify of Christ such as the Bible. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Master. It's not always easy but I try to serve him as much as possible! I love the Lord!

How I live my faith

I have decided to serve the Lord for a period of 2 years on a full time mission. My mission call is in Houston, TX, and I love it! I live my faith by trying to help everyone feel loved, and by sharing the happiness I have because of the gospel with other people. In the end, it just makes me happier! Really I just try to be a good example and motivate people to keep trying.

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Trevor Toolson
Of course! I personally love the New Testament. Especially the writings of Matthew and John. The Book of Mormon however, has helped me understand the doctrine of Christ more fully and has only amplified my spiritual study of the Bible. They work hand in hand. Show more Show less
