Hi I'm Robert Litster

I'm from Southern California, I love the beach and sports. Serving in the Colorado Fort Collins Mission June 2016-2018

About Me

I graduated from high school in 2015 where I played football and wrestled all four years. Sports was really my passion, and honestly my main reason for going to school. I am adopted along with my other four siblings. I have two older sisters and two younger brothers. I love going out my friends and also a huge fan of spontaneous adventures like hiking, camping, snowboarding or wake surfing. I love music. Since graduating from high school I have picked up the guitar and ukelele. I'd say my favorite artist is Katy Perry and love everything about her. It's funny I used to swear I hated country music but now find myself loving it. Overall I'll jam to anything with a catchy beat.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Words can not fully describe all the reasons but I will do my best lol. So growing up I would go to church with the family and not really think anything of it. As I got older I started having to deal with life changes in the family and make decisions other kids my age didn't have to. The chain effect from that was I started to question everything afterwards. My teen years were honestly hard for me but not for the typical reasons of most teens. As the years went by I felt more and more pressure from everywhere thinking that if I messed things up those I loved would suffer or be disappointed. Because of that I unfortunately went through the motions as far as faith and didn't really care or focus on it and never really had my own testimony. It was in my senior year that I kinda was able to snap out of it. All of a sudden broken parts of my past were coming back together and I was able to recognize what I had. I think the biggest change was when I was able to mend bridges between my family and just like that started to grow close again. I will never forget the day when my entire family sat down together for a dinner for the first time in years and how my mom got out the camera and all the room was filled with was happiness and laughter. Right then and there I knew in my mind and soul God was real. I knew that God did care for us and that He did love us and put us with our families who could be together forever. With that knowledge and the help of a few very important figures to me I got my life in order. I decided I wanted to change and so I started taking the steps necessary to go on a mission. I love what this church can do for us. It is the one and only true church. This faith is the only way I can be with my family for time and all eternity and because of that, I am a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission in the Colorado Fort Collins Mission from June 2016-2018. It has been a blessing being able to serve others and witnessing miracles. Being a representative of our Lord has really helped open my eyes to our Gospel and just how powerful it can be and I have to say it really has been changing my life for the better. I love this Gospel and love being a Missionary!
