Hi I'm Kurik

I live in Ephraim, Utah. I love playing soccer. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I live in Utah, and I am a die hard soccer fan. I started playing when I was 5 and have never stopped. Watching soccer is a big part as well, supporting Real Salt Lake and our national men and women teams. I also play basketball and run cross country on the side. I love playing any sport I can try really, and I've made many friends because of this. Other than sports, I'm big into reading, especially fiction and fantasy books. I like hanging out with my friends and family as well

Why I am a Mormon

I have been born and raised in the gospel. My family has been members for generations, and my parents have taught me all the principles to continue to be a worthy and hardworking member of this church. Besides their instruction, I have sought out these principles on my own by reading the scriptures, saying prayers, going to church, and serving others. I have a testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel, and the spirit has confirmed that what I have studied and prayed about is the word of God, and that the prophet is one way that God can spread his word to people all around the world.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a good example. In the high school I attended, people of my belief were in the minority. Instead of telling everyone about what I believe, I chose to show them what I believe. Because of this, I had many opportunities to answer questions asked by my non-LDS friends, and I was respected for it. I think that this is one of the more effective ways to teach people about the gospel, and I have seen it in my friends, my younger siblings, and many others I have come in contact with.
