Hi I'm Grant

I grew up in Pasco Washington, I'm going on a mission to Oklahoma City, I love the gospel and know its true and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi my name is Grant and I love the outdoors and Gods many creations. I enjoy mountain biking, hiking and playing soccer. I have climbed to the top of Mount Adams which is among one of the highest peaks in Washington. I also played soccer all through out high school and love to play the sport. I plan on attending Utah State University after i get home from my mission in Oklahoma City.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Mormon Church because I know that it is the one Church on earth that has the complete gospel. I know this by reading the Book of Mormon and by the feelings that I get when I pray about it. I have Grown up in the gospel my whole life and I have come to know for myself that it is the true gospel of Christ. I choose to continue to be a Mormon because i can see and feel the everlasting happiness that it brings to my life. I have a testimony of the Apostasy and that because of the Apostasy there was a need for a Restoration. I know that Joseph Smith with the help of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father brought to pass that restoration and translated the Book of Mormon so that we could have another testament of Jesus Christ. I have a testimony of missionary work and how great of a blessing it is for us and for the people we teach. I am so excited that I get to be a part of Christ's amazing work and that i get to share the everlasting happiness that I have felt with the people of Oklahoma City. I know modern day prophets are real and that what they say comes from God and that it is a great direction for our lives. This testimony means so much to me and will never be taken away from me. It is something that i will take with me every where I go to remind my self and to help others come unto Christ.

How I live my faith

I have been active in my church organization and have been recently released as a family history consultant and also a young mens first counselor. As a family history consultant I helped people that were interested in either indexing or finding their own family names. As a first counselor i took charge in giving assignments and coordinating activities for the youth. I am also a monthly home teacher and enjoy visiting families from the community each month to visit and to share a lesson. Scouts has also gotten me to interact with in the community. I received my Eagle Scout award and did my final project by planting grass and putting in a sprinkler system in a baseball field.
