Hi I'm Albert Hanks

I have lived in Utah and Georgia. I enjoy working out, but most especially running. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated from High School. I plan on going to college after a two year service mission. I enjoy working out and taking care of my body, nutritionally, physically, spiritually, and mentally. However, my favorite thing to do is to run. Run slow, run fast, or somewhere in the middle, it is all the same to me. I enjoy learning new things, trying new things, and experiencing new things. Reading is one of my favorite past times. I can disappear into a book for hours on end and enjoy every minute of it. Adventure books are by far my favorite. I also really enjoy going to the movies and seeing a new movie up on the big screen. Other then that, I just love hanging out and playing games with my family and closest friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, so I have always been around Church members and seen their faith and their testimonies. My testimony in Jesus Christ and his gospel has grown over the years as I have felt his love surround me and seen so many miracles happen in every day life, both with my family and in the world. Their have also been times when I have felt so much joy, happiness, and power that there is no humanly way to explain it. The only way to explain it was that God was comforting me and confirming to me personally that this is the true church, that He lives and that his son Jesus Christ suffered the atonement for every single one of us. There is no doubt in my mind that This gospel is true, and nothing can ever deter or make me change my beliefs. I have felt, seen, and experienced so much with the gospel in my life that I can not imagine life without the gospel in it. I am Mormon, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and a Son of God.

How I live my faith

I do service for the elderly in my area regularly, which can be from one or two times a week or up to three or four days of the week. I am a leader among the youth in my area, leading them in service activities, and spending time with them at activities and becoming friends with them. I have help organize a large number of activities for the other youth in my area to participate in, such as a film festival competition. I also recently achieved the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America, and although I have finished with Boy Scouts, I try to always Be Prepared and Do a Good Turn Daily, as the Boy Scout motto and slogan state.
