Hi I'm Meghan

I grew up in Utah. I love music and running. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been called to serve in the Washington Everett Mission and I report the Provo Missionary Training Center (MTC) starting in September. I enjoy running and singing. After my mission I will be attending college to study psychology.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that God lives and loves us and that we are His children. I know that Jesus Christ also lives and that he is the savior of the universe. He suffered for us so that He could succor us, and he has definitely succored me when I've needed Him. I know that my family can be together forever. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and that he restored the Gospel in these latter-days. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the true prophet today and that he, along with his counselors and the apostles, are prophets, seers, and revelators. I also know that living by their counsel will keep us safe and happy. By living what is taught by the LDS church I have been able to know without a doubt that all of these things are true. I am a member of this church because it has helped me find peace and happiness, even in times of affliction. The church is not a place for perfect people but it a "hospital" for individuals who need healing. I have been physically and spiritually healed through Christ and his atonement.

How I live my faith

I like to help my mom teach the 5 and 6 year olds in our ward. I also attend a Young Single Adult (YSA) ward. The YSA ward always has fun activities going on, like cupcake wars, dances, and temple trips. I am currently enrolled in Institute classes as well, which is basically a college class where you learn about the Gospel. And I'm currently preparing to serve as a missionary.
