Hi I'm Kelsey

I'm a peanut butter lover and nap enthusiast, I am currently serving a full time mission, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in California, and lived there my entire life up until I left for college in the fall of 2015. I went to school for 2 semesters, and while I was there I met some of the most amazing friends I could have asked for and made unforgettable memories. As of right now, I am a Public Health major, and can't wait to continue down that path when I return to school in a year and a half. As for the next 18 months, I will be serving a full time mission for the LDS church. I can't wait to get out there and serve not only the Lord but the people I will meet!

Why I am a Mormon

This church and gospel has brought me so much joy and comfort in my life. As a young teenager, I reached a point in my life where I realized that I needed to know for myself what I believed, and whether or not this church was all that others had claimed it was. It was then when I first read the Book of Mormon for myself, and prayed to God and asked him if those words were true. Ever since that turning point in my life, I now know that we have a Heavenly Father in heaven who loves us very much, and wants to best for all His children. I know this gospel is the true gospel, and that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I can't wait to help bring others this knowledge and truth, and to help bring them closer to God.

How I live my faith

I have been a member of the church my entire life, so over the years I have participated and have had many different jobs within the church. As a youth, I helped plan different activities for the kids my age and even helped teach lessons to my peers during our Sunday meetings. As an adult, I have been asked to help teach the 4 and 5 year olds while their parents attend their own lessons. I have loved seeing the light of Christ in their eyes while I taught basic christian principles to these children.
