Hi I'm Madison Giuffre

I grew up in Massachusetts and love the church! I was baptized in January of 2015 when I was 17 years old. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a very shy person who loves animals and family. I love to study many different things including meteorology, geology, biology, and education. I graduated from college at 17 years old. I received my associates degree along with my high school diploma at the same time. I go to a four year college and I major in Middle School Education in Science with a Biology minor. I was baptized in January 2015. I now have a calling in the Primary and teach the children that are 6-7 years old. I love cats and really all animals. My hobbies include biking, hiking, competitive swimming, cooking, and drawing. I am serving as a full-time missionary in the Utah Salt Lake City South Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this church is true. Before I was a member of this church, I was lost, unfaithful, scared, and sad. I did not know what I wanted in life and who to follow. I needed guidance to help me through the hard times. I found the gospel through a very good friend of mine. He and I began dating after he invited me to a baseball game. We had so much fun and became great friends shortly after that. We met in college through a mutual friend of ours. He knew that I had problems of my own that could be solved through faith in Jesus Christ and the restored gospel. He and I talked very much about the church and I had many doubts at first. The same night I had doubts and thought I would never join the church was the night I felt the Spirit so strongly that I could not deny it. We were at a family home evening. This is when the family comes together and spends time together for a night. Everyone at this family home evening bore their testimonies and I felt so overjoyed and comforted. The things they had spoken rang true to me. Shortly after that I met with the missionaries for the first time and by the first lesson I had asked if I could be baptized. All of this happened so quickly but it was the best decision I have ever made. My attitude about life has changed completely. I now have faith and hope that I will be able to return to my loving Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I also know that every person on earth is a child of God and can find the same joy I have found through this church. Not only does this church bring me joy and happiness, but it also brings me guidance and experiences I cherish everyday. I know this church is true and can help each and every one of us. I leave this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by remembering the Savior daily. Because I have lived without the Gospel, I know how hard life can be. Now that I have faith in Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father, I am able to feel true joy and happiness. I have a calling in the church in the Primary. Primary is the classes where children are brought together to learn. There are teachers over different ages of the children. I teach children that are ages 6-7. Children are generally baptized at 8 years old. The children I teach are preparing for baptism and are wonderful. I also help brothers and sisters in the ward with services when needed. I choose to live by example everyday because I am the only one in my family who is a Mormon. Living my faith and showing it to everyone brings me great joy and can soften people's hearts.
