Hi I'm Emily Robinson

I have lived in Wyoming my whole life, and it is the best place to go camping. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have grown up in the church, and I am involved in many activities in my community. I was on my school swim team for seven years, all through middle and high school. I also was on the speech and debate team. I love to write and take pictures of God's wonderful creations. I also enjoy curling up with a book, both indoors or outdoors, I'll take either. I also love music, I can play a variety of instruments, and occasionally join in a choir.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was born into the faith. I can trace my family line, we have been in the church since the pioneers came to Utah from Europe. However, I have read the Book of Mormon multiple times, and I have prayed for myself, and I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. It has helped me in my life and I know that I can get though any trial in my life, as long as I follow the teaching of Christ.

How I live my faith

I have grown up as a Mormon, and have enjoyed it. I went to class with my friends when I was little, and then, as a youth, I went to seven years of girls camp, along with as many youth trips to the temple as weather would allow. Even though I was the only youth my age, I had plenty of friends with the younger girls, and with others I meet though camp and youth trips. I also have worked hard to earn My Young Women's medallion, which is an award that young women can earn as Mormons. It has been a wonderful challenge to earn it twice, which is one of my proud accomplishments as a Mormon.

What is a ward/stake/branch?

Emily Robinson
In a Church as world wide as the Mormon church is, we need some way to divide and be able to get to everyone. Like a continent is divided into countries and states, the church is divided into stakes and wards. A ward is divided into local areas, and are a close community. There are several wards in a stake. a stake often is also part of a close community. Show more Show less
