Hi I'm David Torp

I grew up in Georgia. I attended a private Christian school for 15 years. I'm a mormon.

About Me

My name is David. I am a middle child with an older sister and a younger brother. I was born in Georgia and have lived there almost my entire life. I love playing tennis, singing, and watching movies. Right now I am currently enrolled at Kennesaw State Univeristy and have Computer Science as my selected major. I am serving as a full time missionary in the Washington Everett mission, Spanish speaking.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but I continue to attend my church meetings because of a desire to be more like my savior Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because the church can bring complete happiness and joy, things that can not truly be found anywhere else. I know that the Book of Mormon is truly another testimony of Jesus Christ, and that Joseph Smith was a true Prophet of God. Through prayer and diligent scripture study, I have gained a personal testimony that these things are true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by continuing to try and be an example to my friends and those around me. Living the Mormon faith is all about the things you do and how others view your choices. One of the biggest ways that I live my faith is through service. I love going to church and reading my scriptures to receive guidance and inspiration for my daily life.
