Hi I'm Brooke

My world revolves around my family, my friends, school, music, and the gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to play soccer, volleyball, be outside, and go hiking with my sister. I love pizza and a real good hamburger. I love to be with my family. I like learning and going to school. I LOVE music. I play the ukulele and guitar. I attended Utah Valley University for 2 semesters and am now serving a full time mission in the Belgium/Netherlands mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because being a Mormon helps me live a better life. Because the gospel teaches us to love everyone, that's the foundation for every gospel principle. But I'm a Mormon mostly because one day I realized that it's all true. Everything I had been learning from the time I was a kid was all true. After that moment of realization, how could I choose to walk away from it all? I had the truth within my grasp, I knew God's love for each of His children. I know he wants what is best for us all. He wants us to be happy. I'm a Mormon because living this way makes me happy, and that happiness is not just a temporary happiness, but it can extend to be an eternal happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church and fulfilling my calling as the Family Home Evening coordinator for our ward. There are several of us on the committee who work to make FHE activities which are fun, and encourage social stimulation, while also allowing us to grow spiritually. Attending church regularly is something that I enjoy because it allows me to associate with and maintain relationships with people who have similar values as me. I love spending time with my friends at church and learning about the gospel of Jesus Christ.
