Hi I'm Dylan Keeling

I am from a place in the Rockies called Lake Louise, and I Developed a love for the outdoors there; and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18 years old Just finishing up High school and Preparing to serve a mission for the LDS church in Mesa Arizona. I love the outdoors and I especially love the mountains. I do not claim by any means to be a professional, but I have strong interests in the following: Hunting/fishing, skateboarding, cycling (mountain trail), cross country running, and hiking! I have also worked for an exterior construction company for the past four years and have quite enjoyed the things that I have learned. My aspirations for the future include: a large family, I would love to pursue a career in the medical field (specifically as a cardiologist), and to continue to embrace the outdoors with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I, being raised in this church, have continued in the faith because I have seen the love and happiness that it brings into the lives of those who live it to the fullest. I witness the lord's hand in my life as I practice obedience and as I have drawn closer to him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in a lot of ways, but I think that my favourite is by singing in various situations, in sacrament meetings, at youth firesides, and to those who are not well. I love the group of young men that I sing with! I also have the blessing of being able to take the sacrament to those who cannot make it to their meetings on Sundays. I also Go home teaching once a month to four different families, and I am able to share my testimony to them swell as share the messages from the presidency of our church. I also live my faith by preparing to serve a full time mission, which includes daily study and reading, as well as practicing the piano. I love the spirit that comes through this preparation!

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Dylan Keeling
We as members do help each other a lot, because, we are organized into ward families, and the ward has many people that are called to look after those who are in need within the ward. But, this doesn't mean that we have taken some oath limiting our services to the members of our church! We love to have opportunities to serve others and it is something that we wholeheartedly believe in. We are just so aware of the needs of members, through the network of our ward family and we are not quite so aware of the needs that those outside the ward may have. So let us know :) odds are someone will be able to help! Show more Show less
