Hi I'm Sarina

I'm an older sister, a reader, and a singer. I'm soon to be a missionary in Arkansas, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest child in my family, and I love it! I have a lot of fun with my four younger siblings. I enjoy music and singing, and I have been involved in choir for many years of my life. All throughout my life, I've loved learning and reading books. A year ago, I graduated from high school, and now I've completed 2 semesters of college. I'm super excited to have received a mission call to Arkansas, where I will spend 18 months serving and inviting others to come unto Jesus Christ. After my mission, I will continue working on a Bachelor's degree in English Education so that I can become a Jr. High or High School English teacher.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed to have been raised by wonderful parents who taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ from a very young age. Because of their loving guidance, I have established good habits of scripture study, prayer, church attendance, etc. By living the commandments of Jesus Christ, I have come to understand the goodness of His gospel (John 7:17). I believe in a Heavenly Father who loves us so much because we are His children. He listens to our prayers and will answer. I've received needed help and strength when I have asked in faith. Heavenly Father wants us to return to Him, and He has created a plan to make it possible for us to do so. This involves following His son Jesus Christ. I'm grateful for the knowledge, hope, and assurance that if we keep the commandments, we will be able to return to live with our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and our families again someday. This has given me happiness, strength, and peace throughout my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday; it affects everything that I do. It is a lifestyle and a learning process of becoming like Jesus Christ. My faith affects how I treat other people, the places that I go, my thoughts, and my actions. I do my best to be kind to everyone that I meet and to act in ways that are consistent with my knowledge of right and wrong. I like taking opportunities to serve others. I have had multiple opportunities to serve people within my church such as helping to plan faith-building activities, visiting with and teaching other young adult women, and participating in organized service projects.
