Hi I'm Madison

I'm from Connecticut. I'm a writer. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Connecticut my whole life. I'm a student at BYU and currently serving a mission in the California San Diego mission. I'm an undeclared major but interested in studying history and non-profit management. I aspire to be a writer and work for church welfare or philanthropies. I'm an obsessive journaler who can't go a day without writing.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but I ultimately did not grow a testimony or consider myself a "convert" until I was much older. In my first few years of high school, it became increasingly important to me that I find absolute truth; some all-consuming and cosmic truth about how the universe worked. It took some time to realize that such truth existed in the bookshelves of my own home; that it was being taught to me every sunday at church. That search was necessary, though, as it allowed for me to recognize what made absolute truth, and the significance of the gospel that is taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We claim to not only have a gospel that can help you in your lives, but one that is simply just the way the universe works. The way God works. It is not just the bigger picture, but the whole picture.

How I live my faith

As a missionary, I have left behind my life to find those who have been prepared and are seeking truth. For eighteen months, everything material has been provided to me so that I can care nothing about myself and entirely about the work and others.
