Hi I'm Eduardo Cruz

I'm from Woodland California, currently serving in the Canada Toronto Mission! June 2015-June 2017

About Me

I went to High School in Woodland, Graduated in 2015. I love to read, write, play games, and draw. I've lived in California my entire life and never really left it, I hope to serve the Lord and to continue my life when I return. I like to work hard and I strive to do my best.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church (lifer), my parents were converts before I was born and I was always willing to go up until I started to go through puberty. It sounds a bit cliche but I know I had to experience life if I were to know if this was the true church. Around the age of 17 I began going and looking for something, and I didn't really know what it was that I was looking for. The only thing that I really noticed was that everyone around me always showed genuine love and concern for me, and that brought so much happiness into my daily life. I had realised that I was being a stubborn and difficult kid for my parents and having that sense of realisation brought an overwhelming sense of humility to my heart. I began to see things as they really were and began to love the people all around me. At the age of 19 I received my mission call to teach others about the happiness that I've found for myself. That is why I am a Mormon, and a disciple of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I go to Church as often as I can and surround myself with people who share the same values that I do. The more you surround yourself with people who truly love you and want to see you grow, the more you will do those things. I serve a full time mission in the Canada Toronto Mission. I live my faith by studying and understanding the scriptures daily, going to church weekly to learn new things and to expand my horizon of knowledge, and by praying often. I try to follow the example of my Savior, Jesus Christ, and love all those around me. I know and understand what God has in store for myself, my family, and all those on Earth. I hold those feelings and understanding within my heart always.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Eduardo Cruz
Mormons believe in a Plan of Salvation and that through the atonement of Christ we shall be saved. We must choose for ourselves through the agency that God gave us to come unto Christ and follow his example. Show more Show less
