Hi I'm Lauren

I grew up in Utah. I attended UVU for a year and will be serving in the Houston Texas South Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old and was born and raised in Utah. I am the oldest of four children. I have 2 younger sisters and 1 younger brother. I recently got called to serve in the Houston Texas South Mission- Spanish Speaking and I cannot wait. I attended Utah Valley University my freshman year and plan on continuing school when I return home from my mission. I want to be an elementary school teacher after I graduate college. In my free time I love to read, spend time with friends and family, and go shopping. I also love to go camping, boating and anything outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my whole life. When I was born, my parents were members of this wonderful church and while growing up they taught me so much about the church. Since my parents were already members of the LDS church, I first leaned on their testimony of the church and later developed my own testimony. I was able to gain my own testimony of the gospel by reading, studying, and praying about the Book of Mormon. My testimony continues to grow and strengthen each and every day as I continue to read my scriptures, pray, listen to the prophet and apostles and share it with others. I am so grateful that I am a Mormon and I do not know what I would do without this gospel in my life. I know that this is the true church on the earth today and that Thomas S. Monson is the true prophet. I know that Joseph Smith restored this amazing gospel on the earth and I am so grateful for that. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and it can help lead and guide us to return back to our Heavenly Father. I know that Jesus Christ died for each and every one of us and through the Atonement we are able to be forgiven of our sins and washed clean. I am so grateful for this wonderful church and I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith each and every day by being a good example to those around me. I love helping others and finding ways to serve those in my church, my community and all around me. I have served in callings within this church that have allowed me to serve others, invite others to come to Christ, and to help teach others about this gospel. I have been blessed to receive my mission call and will continue to bring others unto Christ and share this amazing gospel with others.
