Hi I'm Danny Peterson

I have grown up in Utah. I love ballroom dance. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Utah and love to go hiking, adventuring, and seeing all of the amazing landscapes here. I have been involved in Ballroom Dance for 6 years and after serving a mission I plan to dance in college. I also really enjoy woodworking, hanging out with friends and family, and education. In high school I was involved in student government and seminary youth council, and was the Senior Class President.

Why I am a Mormon

There are many reasons why I am a Mormon and have chosen to be apart of this church, the main reason is because it brings my life true genuine happiness. By following the principles and commandments of the church I have been able to gain a deep testimony in the gospel and know that with out a doubt it is true, specifically through prayer, scripture study, and missionary work. My last year of high school was really hard and full of many trials, but after staying with the gospel I was able to deepen my testimony and learn to appreciate the good in the world. I know that this church is here to direct my life and show me the right path I should go on. I love this church with all my heart and know that it is true.

How I live my faith

There are many ways I live my faith like: home teaching, helping others in any way possible, being happy and positive, ward callings and assignments, etc. One of the main things I do is to live my faith through my sport of Ballroom Dance. I often am required to travel a lot because of dance and I meet many new people, and I believe that by being a good example and by showing my standards and my beliefs during my ballroom dance experiences I am able to show a big part of how I live my faith.
