Hi I'm Maryanna Kroska

I am a triplet in a family of eight kids. I am an avid runner, reader, and writer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up in Minnesota has long since installed a love of wildlife, gardening, and running in the beautiful woods and lakeside trails. From swimming, to theater, track and field, Choir, and Cross Country - I love being active an on the move individual! To pass the time by, I love writing, reading poetry and mystery/science fiction, playing card and board games, and love watching the snow fall in December as well as watch the flowers spring in early May. I currently am a student at Brigham Young University in Provo Utah, studying Molecular Biology and am currently Pre-Med as far as a career goes.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel allows me to feel a peace and sense of surety in a world where many of the values, beliefs, and positions of individuals are not true. As a member of this church, I desire to express my deep joy and reverence that the Lord knows each of us personally, that we are His sons and daughters, and that He knows us. With President Monson, the Lord's called disciples, and truths revealed through the Prophet Joseph Smith, Heavenly Father is with us and guides us. The gospel is simple, it is the world that is difficult - therefore, we must have the courage, faith, and a hope to overcome and endure, so that we may return to Him once again.

How I live my faith

I have served in numerous callings and began when I was a Miamaid 2nd counselor in Young Women's. I also served as a Youth Camp Counselor (YCL) for 3 years in the Young Women's program, and a Laurel's 2nd counselor. From there, I began teaching primary and nursery as a student in my freshman year of college. After transferring schools, I began working as a Family History/Temple specialist and then as a Relief Society 1st counselor. Other callings sustained have been Family Home Evening Coordinator, which has transitioned into, presently, the YSA Leader for our ward/stake in the St. Cloud Stake. I am looking forward to serving a full-time mission this fall and to the callings the Lord will have me do in the future.
