Hi I'm Joseph

I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I am a missionary. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Joseph. I am the third oldest of ten children. I really enjoy running, biking and swimming. I love science, and particularly enjoy biology, psychology and neurosciences. I work as a Lifeguard at the YMCA. I am an Eagle Scout. I play several musical instruments, including the piano, clarinet and saxophone. I was recently called to the Kirabati region of the Marshall Islands Majuro mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born with parents who loved me very much. Because of their sincere love for me, they devoted their lives to teaching me what made them the most happy: the gospel. They planted a seed in my heart, and I believe that the seed they planted has found fertile soil and continues to grow as I study the scriptures and develop my relationship with Heavenly Father. As my life has progressed, I have come to realize more and more how much practicing the standards of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has blessed my life. Through living and applying what I am taught in the church, I have the ability to achieve eternal progression and return to live with Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. Why am I a Mormon? Because being a Mormon yields infinitely abundant amounts of pure happiness and joy, in this world and in worlds to come.

How I live my faith

The way I live my faith is by striving to emulate the one and only example we've had on Earth of perfect love: Jesus Christ. Faith implies action, so though I often sin and fall short of my goals and expectations, I do my best to learn from my failures in order to become a better person and build a stronger relationship with God.
