Hi I'm Lyric Masina

I am a Mormon.

About Me

Full Samoan. I was born with a physical disability called "Cerebral Palsy" on the right side of my body. My right hand doesn't function properly but that has never stopped me from doing anything. I love to read/write. I love hiking or anything out doors pretty much. I love sports.. A LOT. Mainly Football and Basketball. Recently finished my first year of college at Utah State University where I am currently majoring in Chemistry. I want to be able to regulate waterways to help bring fresh water to countries around the world. While at Utah State I was able to join a sorority called "Alpha Chi Omega." Within my sorority I was able to hold a couple positions. I was Cultural Chair/Resources Chair and was also on the Committee for Philanthropy and Bid Day. I was also able to join Polynesian Student Union as well as Asian Student Association.

Why I am a Mormon

I've chosen to be a Mormon through the love and compassion that the Gospel gives me. Through the Members of the Church who have helped me become who I am through their continuous support throughout my lifetime. More importantly through the teachings of the Spirit that helps guide me through my trials and tribulations when I feel that I am alone I know I am never a lone whenever I turn to my savior and ask for his comfort.

How I live my faith

I help out with Youth Activities sometimes within my ward. I do service work within my sorority. I've visited the old folks homes, did a CAPSA drive asking for donations for CAPSA. Volunteered at Pow Wow events for Native American festivities.
