Hi I'm Carter

I grew up in a small town in Washington. I love to run. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am currently serving a mission in the Dominican Republic Santo Domingo East Mission. I had to travel a long way from my home in eastern Washington to get here but I am happy to have the opportunity to serve the Lord! Some things I have always loved to do is run (well maybe not always, that one had to grow on me), read, and spend time with family. After my mission my plans include college at BYU and a future in the US Air Force.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be follow my Savior and be baptized because of the testimony that is in my heart that His church is the true way to find happiness in this life and beyond. Through reading His word in the scriptures I have felt of His love through the Holy Ghost, and have come to know that Heavenly Father loves each and every one of us and has put forth this Church and His Son to lead us back to live in His presence forever. The Atonement can and has covered all of our sins and I have a deep gratitude and love towards the Savior because of it. I know that Jesus Christ is the head of the church and I strive to follow him through obedience and diligence to the commandments he has asked because I know that all that he asks is for my good.

How I live my faith

I currently live my faith as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I show and share my beliefs by always looking for opportunities to serve, teach, and help others in any way they might need. By sharing my knowledge of the the restored gospel and testifying of Jesus Christ I am able to fulfill my role as a missionary and a faithful follower of Christ.
