Hi I'm Sydney Bready

I am a flute player, avid reader, travel lover, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Bountiful, and I currently live in American Fork, Utah. I love my family and all of my friends and the wonderful place I live in. I am a twin, and I am best friends with my twin sister- Shelby. I also have an older brother, and an older sister, and a pair of loving parents. I just barely graduated from American Fork High School. I played the flute in my High Schools concert and marching band, and was very passionate about the flute. I am planning on attending BYU in the fall and I am very excited to take this next step in my life, and I am very excited for all of my new adventures!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings me joy. I have grown up in the church and it has brought be so many friends, and joy, and blessings in my life. While I have grown up in the church and don't really know anything else but the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I have had to gain my own testimony. I have read the Book of Mormon in its entirety and have prayed to know it is true, and I have a firm confirmation that that book is the word of god, and the church is true! I marvel so much about our church and how incredible the organization, and the doctrine, and the blessings that come from living this lifestyle. I know with all that I am that Joseph Smith was a Prophet! I have a strong testimony that he did see Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and did translate the Book of Mormon through the power of the Holy Ghost. It is too good to not be true. I know that by being a member of this church it makes living life a lot easier. I can not imagine living life without the guidance of the Holy Ghost, and without prayer. Boy that would be hard. Prayer is a real thing, and you can pray about anything and you will get an answer. I know that Jesus Christ and God are REAL and that they answer prayers. How amazing is it that if you ever make a mistake, it can all be made better through the Atonement? Because Christ suffered for all of our sins, and walked such a long and lonely path so utterly alone, we don't have to suffer for our sins. I love this church, and I AM PROUD TO BE A MORMON.

How I live my faith

I attended seminary for all 4 years in high school, and I loved it and learned so much from it. I used to be a Mia Maids president, Beehive second counselor, and I was a Family History consultant in my ward. I have a strong passion for Family History! I LOVE finding names and taking them to the temple. In this past year, I have found and done the baptisms and confirmantions for over 150 people. I love feeling the spirit of Elijah in my life!
