Hi I'm Kamille Brough

I am a true Wyomingite and love the outdoors. I love this life and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a college student and will soon leave to serve a mission in the Dominican Republic. I love learning and I believe the best places in the world are the mountains. I am deathly afraid of jellyfish, but love heights. I love getting to know people and I wish strangers introduced themselves with hugs more often. I see the future as a very scary prospect, but I'm excited for all the adventures it holds in store! I am the oldest of five children in a wonderful family. My dream is to one day be a nurse and travel in order to help people everywhere across the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In college I had the real choice to either continue to practice my religion or abandon it. I stayed true to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know the teachings are true and it has been the true source of peace and happiness in my life. The peace I have gained from the gospel I have gained because it makes sense! Also, I love knowing that I will be with my family for all of eternity and that I have purpose and potential. The true reason why I am Mormon though, is love. I love Christ, I love my family, and I love the people surrounding me. I want all of those people, including myself, to return again to the source of perfect love which is our Heavenly Father. That is why I am Mormon and follow Christ.

How I live my faith

The people of the Church of Jesus Christ are like a second family to me. I attend church every Sunday and have frequent activities with fellow Mormons through out the week. While in college, I would attend classes based on church teachings and have Family Home Evening on Monday nights. Family Home Evening is a bonding activity where families and friends bond together and help strengthen each other for life's hardships. Once in a while I will help teach classes on Jesus Christ and his gospel. I incorporate my faith into my life by daily praying and trying to better myself. I am far from perfection, but perfection is my goal because I believe that through Jesus Christ, it is possible.
