Hi I'm Michael

I am an identical twin. I love music and volleyball. I am serving a mission in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated from high school. I was the salutatorian, and I ran cross country. I am an Eagle Scout too. I enjoy playing the piano, playing volleyball, and reading. I will be attending Brigham Young University at Provo after I serve my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ! It gives me strength and hope. I was born and raised in the church, but I came to know for myself that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, that I am a son of God and He loves me, and that the Book of Mormon is true. I have come to know these things by reading the scriptures, pondering them, and praying to my Father in Heaven asking if these things are true. Through the Holy Spirit, I know these things are true. Being a Mormon allows me to strengthen my relationship with my Savior, my Heavenly Father, and the Spirit. As a Mormon, I know that I can return to live with God again with my family. This knowledge gives me faith to overcome weaknesses, endure trials, and obey God's commandments. I am a Mormon because the gospel brings me peace and joy.

How I live my faith

I love to help others and to talk about my faith with my nonmember friends! I go to church every Sunday and for the past four years, I have attended Seminary, a class where we study the scriptures. I am active in my youth group and in my church meetings. I go to the homes of members in our congregation with my twin brother and father to serve them and give a spiritually uplifting message. I study the scriptures and pray everyday. What's most important is being an obedient son and trying my best to be like Jesus Christ, serving and showing my love to others. I am now preparing to serve a two year mission in Argentina. I am so excited!
