Hi I'm Emily

I'm from AZ. I'm a violinist, missionary and a sister. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a former cashier who has been saving up for a year to go on a mission for the LDS church. It was a lot of character building for me because it was my first job, but I enjoyed talking to people and getting their needs met. I'm also the second oldest child of an incredibly loving family who have taught me about the gospel and it's positive influence on the world. Some hobbies I enjoy are playing my violin, attending plays, writing, drawing, and singing.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm not a convert, but during my pre-teens I began to doubt my testimony. When I stopped relying on my parents testimony and worked on my own, it was a meaningful process that helped me connect with Jesus Christ. I know that this church is true. I have read the Book of Mormon completely and can stand up for it. I also can testify that Joseph Smith was a true prophet, and that Thomas S. Monson is the prophet of these latter days.

How I live my faith

I try to participate in service activities and church meetings. Most of the service I do consist of cleaning, yard work, and scheduling.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

We do believe the Bible to be the word of God. We also believe that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
